About Me

I believe healing works best with a mix of honesty, compassion, and the kind of humor that helps you exhale. Therapy doesn’t have to be stiff or stuffy. I create a safe, supportive space where you can be real, dig into the hard stuff, and maybe even laugh a little as we go.

I’ve been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas for the past six years, working with individuals navigating anxiety, grief, identity exploration, trauma, and big life transitions. Before stepping into the therapy world, I spent 27 years as a high school art teacher—an experience that gave me deep respect for the creative process and how to speak fluent teen (and surviving glitter explosions). That background continues to shape my work, especially when using expressive arts and supporting youth through complex transitions

I have extensive experience supporting the LGBTQ+ community and I consider it a privilege to walk with people as they explore their identity, build resilience, and learn to thrive. My approach is integrative and tailored to each person’s needs, drawing from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR, grief work, and expressive arts.

Also, I’m a lifelong dog parent—so if you ever need a metaphor involving loyalty, zoomies, or chewing through challenges, I’ve got you covered.

Whatever your goals may be, I’m here to walk alongside you as you move toward healing, clarity, and a stronger sense of self.
